When is the best time to visit Sapa?

Sapa is best visited between March and May, and September and November. The weather is relatively stable during these times, with sunny days and cool nights. The first time period is autumn. The weather is very pleasant at this time of year. It is dry and clear, with plenty of sunshine. Between September and October, the view of Sapa’s terraces is at its best. The cool and dry weather, combined with the consistent temperature, makes it an ideal time for trekking and photography.

Although it is hot in the summer, it is not as hot as other parts of Vietnam.

If you visit between April and May, you will have the opportunity to see the beautiful landscapes of many colorful flowers and green fields.

Sapa gets very cold in the winter, from December to February, especially at night. In exchange, you get to watch the sunrise over the valley in the morning. In recent years, snow has also fallen in Sapa.
